Except for steel, bronze alloys are superior to iron in nearly all applications because of its high specific heat, the highest of all solids, is used in heat transfer applications.

For their properties, the bronze finds numerous applications:

Applications include mechanical friction and resistance to corrosion, fitting, fabrication of springs, bearings and valves, parts of the shipbuilding industry, as well as good quality musical instruments as bells, gongs, saxophone, and is also used to manufacture strings of pianos, harps and guitars.

For thousands of years was the base alloy for the manufacture of weapons and utensils, and silversmiths from all eras have used in jewelry, sculpture and medals. The coins minted in bronze alloys have a significant role in trade and the global economy.
